All classes are 30 minutes.
We recommend 2 days a week for the first 3 months.
Repetition is key.

*Annual membership fee of $55.00 at enrollment then every January 1st.
2 drop-ins per year are allowed without a membership fee.

Minnows
Goals:
- Introduction to buoyancy, balance, and breath control.
*If under 36 months child should start in the older baby and me program if not comfortable with separation.

Child is comfortable in the water with being submersed and has breath control. (buoyancy, balance and breath control)
Goals:
- Introduction to buoyancy and balance
- Monkey walk
- Introduction to breath control, floating, and safety skills
- Introduction to back floating
- Skills and songs are alternated to enhance learning

Super Minnows
Child can swim 3 ft, is comfortabe with their eyes in the water and can float on their back.
Goals:
- Independent back floating and roll over breathing
- Introduction to streamline glide
- Swim 6 feet for Super Waterbugs; 10 feet for Clownfish with roll-overs to rest
- Backstroke
- Elementary backstroke arms
- Elementary backstroke kicks and full stroke
- Backstroke kicks with board
- Introduction to breaststroke kick
- Backstroke
- Introduction to dolphin kick
- Introduction to big arms only when student can take a breath independently

Bubble blowing
Jellyfish float
Elevators
Paddle arms (only if child is moving independently)
Swim 5 feet comfortably

Level 3 - Clownfish
Child can swim 5 ft. with their eyes in the water comfortably and float on their back.
Goals:
Independent back floating and roll over breathing
Introduction to streamline glide
Swim 10 feet with roll-over to rest
Backstroke
Elementary backstroke arms
Elementary backstroke kicks and full stroke
Backstroke kicks with board
Introduction to breaststroke kick
Introduction to dolphin kick
Introduction to big arms (only when child can take a breath independently)

Level 4 - Angelfish
Child can swim 10 ft and roll over for a breath.

Swim 25 feet with side breathing

Dolphin kicks

Child can swim 25 ft using side breathing.
Goals:
Introduction to "FUN"damental breaststroke
Introduction to "FUN"damental butterfly
Introduction to backstroke drills
Freestyle with alternate side breathing for 40 feet
5-minute continuous swim

Disrobing

Level 6 - Sharks
Child can complete a 5-minute continuous swim with alternate side breathing.
Goals:
Full-stroke breaststroke with proper breathing
Introduction to treading water
Butterfly with breathing
Introduction to individual medley
Emphasis is on increasing distance with perfect strokes
10-minute continuous swim
